Hey yall!
I am Marina: mom of two, wife to the better half, adventure seeker, coordinator of all things chaos. These are the things that make up who I am and helped shape the love and passion I have for photography.
I grew up in a large cajun family, so spending time together was always at the top of our priority list. My childhood was spent celebrating anything and everything no matter how big or how small. My love of photography took root here: taking cringey photos of family and friends on my beloved Kodak point-and-shoot 4.2 megapixel digital camera (you know the one I’m talking about).
As I began raising children of my own, I came to realize the weight that those silly, cringey photographs held. Whether it’s photos of the day that you say “forever,” the first time you hold your child, or of a loved one who has passed away, I have come to realize that a simple photograph becomes a cherished memory.
It is my hope that my photographs capture life’s most precious memories that serve as a constant reminder that there is truly no time like the present and to treasure your time, your people, and life’s fleeting moments.
